Enhance your child’s creativity
at summer camp!
In Artipre-Arts Camps, kids learn to discover, explore, and imagine in their own unique ways, experimenting with a variety of art materials and methods that encourage the development of creative thinking and abilities.. With our artistic and caring staff, your kids will have memorable and productive one in a fun summer environment with their friends.
Teens ages 13 to 18 are invited to join us for for two-eight week full-day camps to develop their art and drawing skills. This course will encourage students to indulge themselves further into the art world as we introduce them to various topics. From observational and abstract applications, this course covers most of the fundamentals of art such as still life, landscapes, city scape, portraits, and figure drawing.
Although the number of portfolio pieces that students must prepare for art college submission varies, it is usually about 15 to 20 items. Students’ portfolios demonstrate not only their technicalskills, but also their creativity and artistic sense. Art college reviewers evaluate the artwork submitted based on creativity and on how the concepts were developed and displayed using the necessary technical skills. A portfolio should contain enough high caliber work to showcase both artistic technique and creativity. That way it stands the best chance of impressing an art college and possibly leading to a scholarship for the applicant. This intense summer camp class allows students in the 11th grade to create 7-10 art pieces as the basis for their portfolio.
